So what is Delicate Dog’s?
Delicate Dog’s is a course specifically designed for reactive dogs brought to you by Waggy Workshop Events. We are science based qualified trainers/behaviourists, who provide you and your dog with the upmost kindness and support.
“Reactive” dogs are hard work, walks seem daunting, public spaces are a no-go, and we are constantly worrying about how our dog is behaving. Sometimes we are embarrassed, sometimes we cry, and sometimes we wonder if it’ll ever get better. How do we know all of this? Because we've been there. It will get better, and we’re here to help you.
Delicate dogs is a course consisting of 4 sessions. The course includes-
- Two Powerpoint presentations covering the theory behind why our dogs are reactive via email.
- An online session to discuss the presentations, and get to know the group.
- Training exercises to help improve your dogs reactivity for you to practise prior to our first practical session.
- A notebook to monitor your progress.
- Three outdoor training sessions at a private secure field.
- Learn skills to improve your handling skills, and interpretation of your dogs behaviours
- Free 50 minute session in a secure field for just you and your dog
- Certificate upon completion.
- Support from certified qualified trainer/behaviourists

Delicate Dog’s is targeted at dogs that are sensitive and reactive to other dogs/people etc, rescue dogs and dogs that have shown lunging, barking, spinning, snapping and other undesirable behaviour towards other dogs/people etc. It is suitable for any age, and any breed.
The course is designed to help you understand your dog's behaviours and to give you a tool box of exercises to use to support your dog. 'Reactivity' cannot be cured overnight and you will need to dedicate some time to train your dog.
